Entry into Year 7 in September 2026
Open Day 2025:
Our Open Day will take place on Saturday, 28th June 2025, from 9:30am - 1:00pm.
Mrs Beever, Headteacher will be giving talks throughout the morning, at: 9:45am; 10:30am; 11:15am and 12noon. Tours of the School will be led by Loreto students.
Prebooking or registration is NOT required. Please do just turn up on the day.

Entrance Examination:
Loreto Grammar School's Entrance Examination 2025 will take place on Friday, 19th September 2025 for entry into Year 7 in September 2026.
Online Registration to the Entrance Examination 2025 will be LIVE from 10:00am on 28th June 2025.
Deadline for entry to the Entrance Examination 2025 will be 31st July 2025. LATE APPLICATIONS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED.
The examination will consist of closed GL tests in English and Verbal Reasoning plus a closed internal test in Mathematics.
Paper order and lengths are:
1) Mathematics - 45 minutes
2) English - GL: 45 minutes
3) Verbal Reasoning - GL: 50 minutes
Baptism Certificates (if applicable):
As per our Admissions Policy, eligibility in the relevant admissions cateogory is for those who have been baptised prior to the date of registration for the Loreto Grammar School Entrance Examination.
Please send your daughter's original Baptism certificate to:
Admissions, Loreto Grammar School, Dunham Road, Altrincham WA14 4AH
The Baptism certificate should be sent at the time you register your daughter for the Entrance Examination and NO LATER THAN 11th July 2025.
You should also send a stamped addressed envelope for its return. Please ensure you use the correct postage on all your correspondence.
If you wish to bring your daughter's Baptism certificate with you on our Open Day 2025, a copy will be taken and the original returned to you on the day.
