Loreto Praying Together

Wednesday 25th March

Today is the Feast of the Annunciation, we hear thousands of other annunciations that come in and out of our lives and, as in Mary’s case, turn our world upside down. St Luke places before us a cascade of words spoken be the angel Gabriel: God is with you. Do not be afraid. Nothing will be impossible for God.

Slow me down Lord.

Ease the pounding in my heart.

Help me to remember that you are with me especially when I am under pressure.

Help me to pace myself and not burn up with worry.

Help me to keep cool.

Remind me that I need to take short breaks and get fresh air and breathe deeply.

Teach me the unhurried pace of one who trusts you to stay with me whatever happens.
