Competitions and Awards

Please see below details of any exciting competitions and awards that are available to students.  

  • The Ultimate STEM Challenge is back in partnership with the Science Museum and STEM Learning, and this year we're inviting students aged 11 to 14 to help create a more sustainable future.  Students choose from one of three challenges based around the theme of My Sustainable Future: Handy HydroParched Plants or Brilliant Biogas.

    These new challenges are designed to build confidence and teamwork skills, and to inspire all students, not just the scientists!

  • iDEA is programme that helps you develop digital and enterprise skills for free. Through their series of online challenges and events, you can win career-enhancing badges, unlock new opportunities and, ultimately, gain industry recognised awards that help you stand out from the crowd.  To find out what opportunties are available click here.

  • The School Ambassador Council is our national Leadership Programme, where we provide opportunities for students to develop their transferable skills and nurture future NHS leaders.  Anyone aspiring to be a Medic from Year 7 to Year 13 can apply to take part.  Click here for more information.
