Well-being

Welcome to the Student Well-being and Support section of our website.

There are points in all our lives when we require guidance, advice or support. If you have a question or need some support, your form tutor is a good person to speak to; if they can’t answer your particular question, they will be able to refer you on to someone who can. Your Year Co-Ordinator is another useful person to speak to. In most cases they will be able to support you and if they can’t, they can talk to you about other types of support available, such as the school nurses, Mrs Perkins the school chaplain, or the counsellor.

The school nurses are available every other Wednesday as they provide a drop-in clinic at dinner-time. Dates and times are displayed on the door of Sick Bay. In addition, we have Peer-to-Peer which is our excellent student mentoring support that is run by students for students. Peer-to Peer provide a drop-in clinic each Tuesday dinner time and Thursday break-time. It may also be useful to explore some of the following websites as they can offer lots of information and useful advice.
