LPA Christmas Fair - 25th November 2017

Loreto's Parents' Association and School Council are preparing for the school's biggest and best ever Christmas fair on Saturday November 25.

Their aim is to beat the £8,000 total made in each the two previous fairs and generate funds to improve outdoor seating across the grammar school campus and give the Preparatory girls some superb new outdoor play equipment.

Chair of the Parents' Association Laura O'Brien, who is the site manager for a biotech company in Speke, has been organising all the traditional stalls and games with a bottle and chocolate tombola, Headteacher Jane Beever's cake stall, a grand prize draw and the Prep choir singing the first carols of the season to warm all hearts.

Funds from the last two events were spent on a state-of-the-art 16 seat mini bus used by both sites on Dunham Road in Altrincham and Laura says though “our fund raising is to buy the school things they might not not normally be able to afford is important, the Loreto Christmas Fair is very much about reaching out to the wider community and sharing our common values.”

Entrance to the air which runs from 11am to 2pm is only £1 and everyone is welcome.
